Our vision is to share our finest selection of teas out of Asia with everyone. Midori Trading Inc. was established in 1997 by two childhood friends who strongly believe in introducing and sharing natural Asian herbal remedies to our market. We embark our long journey by being passionate and dedicated in providing the highest quality herbal tea and candy to the American Market. Our commitment is to provide you with the finest herbal teas and candy from our native lands.

For over thirty years, the founders, Mo Yuen Ma, has been testing and selecting from a large variety of teas in China. Some of his favorite teas include Green, Oolong, and Pu Er. He also valued the unique blends of Green tea from China and wished to introduce it to others.  He has also been a life long Tai Chi student and appreciates this zen form of martial arts in that it energizes, heals and soothes the mind and body.  Sin Yi Yong's father was a certified Chinese Herbalist in China and then in the United States practicing for over 50 years with ancient Chinese herbal recipes.  She was fascinated by this natural remedy process and has been a tea enthusiast since she was a child.  So Mo and Sin Yi's natural inclination was to partner together and create recipes for tea that holistically heals both the mind and body, and is desirable to the palate. 

After realizing not many of Asia's most premium teas are readily available in American markets, Mo began making his vision into a reality by importing teas from the East to the West. Midori's first successful product was Organic Green Tea when Organic Green Teas were almost non-existent.  That launched us as a trading company.

As a manufacturer and wholesaler, we provide products and services to health and natural food stores, supermarkets, dollar stores, resellers, and other wholesale distributors in the Northeast region of the United States. Today, our brand is not limited to the Chinese community, but to a diverse group of cultures that America represents.

Traditional Green, White, Black, and Herbal teas from Asia are only a small portion of what Midori offers. We also offer products made in the U.S.A. like Dieter's Green Tea, Chamomile Green Tea, Relaxing Time All Natural Tea, Premium High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Teas and more (see our selection in Products).  We also offer some healthy delicious treats, like Amber Ginger Rock™ Candy and Honey Ginger Candy.
